About the Film

The Last Orbit began with a question: what would Earth look like if we were the ones who abandoned it?

Created by a small independent team, the film combines writing, performance, sound, traditional editing and emerging visual-production techniques to build a world that would previously have required a much larger production.

The technology made the world possible.

The filmmaking gives it meaning.
